Welcome to apply for exchange studies in Biology at Lund university! Most of our intermediate and advanced courses are taught in English. Find a variety of courses in Biology, Marine Biology, and Molecular Biology under "courses".
The term exchange student implies that your home university has a formal agreement to exchange students with Lund University. The agreement can also be specific to the Faculty of Science or to us; the Biology Education at Lund University.
You apply for the exchange program at your home university; either through your central International office or through an international coordinator at your department or faculty. You must have sufficient proficiency in English.
Your home university nominates you before you can formally apply for exchange studies at Lund University.
If you are an Erasmus student, you should hand in your application to the Erasmus coordinator at your home university who will forward it to us (see address below). Please use our application form that is available in the right column on this page. Deadlines are 15 April for the ensuing autumn term and 1 October for the ensuing spring term.
After you have applied for exchange studies, you need to pre-register with Lund University for housing, Swedish language courses, and mentor and orientation programs
